Charanjit (C.J.) Khurana

My career spans 40+ years — international trade, telecom entrepreneurship, maritime consulting, and now commercial and residential real estate — negotiating deals, developing property, and solving the complicated situations that come with all four.

I’m running for the SCCAR Board because REALTORS® need a strong, practical voice at the table — decisions on housing, property rights, development, regulations, and taxes shape whether we can actually do business.

We should advocate fiercely for REALTORS® and property owners, keep members informed before issues become problems, deliver education that helps us compete, and make sure local government understands the real-world consequences of its decisions — now and later.

As a longtime Snohomish County resident, my background includes leading Team SD, representing buyers, sellers, investors, landlords, and builders across Snohomish and King Counties. Working across residential and commercial real estate — and speaking English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu — has kept me close to the diversity of the members and communities SCCAR serves, and to the off-market and commercial deals, from ADUs to gas stations and motels, where preparation and problem-solving matter most.

I believe in doing the homework, asking good questions, listening to the people doing the work — and then getting to work.
